My son will be a junior taking get the SAT for the first time in spring 2016 (first release of new version). However, he'll be taking the PSAT this coming October (and possibly again in the fall of his junior year). How do we give due credit to the PSAT yet use it as preparation for his SAT?

Do you know if colleges like Geneva and Grove City will require the essay portion of the revised SAT? When do you think they will update their websites to give us enough prep time?
