Why Homeschooling Works
Why Homeschooling Works
What does homeschooling look like in your home??
In my home it looked like a boy reading a book and laying on a dog. Calm. Safe. Peaceful. Core literacy plus academics.
That's why homeschooling works.
Homeschooling is the best learning environment. Students are safe and secure so they can learn more instead of learning with fear. Students receive real world socialization, not just exposure to age-mates with a birthday within 6 months of their own.
Homeschoolers have the best test scores across the board, without regard to race, gender, income, or parents level of education. You can find statistics at NHERI.org.
Homeschooling provides the best career preparation. Within the context of a normal, natural homeschool, parents provide trial and error specialization to help children determine their career goals. Parents have plenty of time to shape and mold behavior appropriate for the workplace. And we create a strong work ethic through including chores around the house and approaching tough academic subjects with determination.
You can be CONFIDENT that homeschooling works.
