For the best scholarship opportunities, you want to put your child first in line for the money. In other words, complete your application far before it's due. To complete your application early, you need to stay on top of your record keeping. Update your transcript and course descriptions every year.
Even so... don't give up hope! Read Sharon's story, about how she was behind because of procrastination, but ended up successful anyway!
Thanks for the invites to all your free classes. I do forward them to a homeschooling friend but I don't sign up anymore because my son graduated from homeschool last year. He is in his freshman year at Miami University. I had talked to you last year during my gold level counseling session. We had applied the day of the deadline. You had said that was "too late" but he got accepted!!! He made the Presidents List (a 4.0 required) his first term, and was asked to be a Teaching Assistant halfway thru his first term.
I urge my highschool homeschooling friend to stay on top of course descriptions (l had procrastinated!) and to attend all your webinars and sign up for your Gold Club.
Thank you for all your courses and hard work teaching all of us Mom's how to prepare our kids for college :-)
My next free class is Spring into Transcripts. I hope you can join me!
